Lia Fáil Pipes and Drums of Mercer County, NJ

The Lia Fail Pipe Band of County Mercer, NJ was formed in 2000 and is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.  Throughout the year, the band performs in numerous parades, festivals, and events in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.  These events include the band’s annual performance in the New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade followed by the band opening up for Black 47 at the B.B. King’s in Times Square.  To celebrate the band’s 10 Anniversary, the band traveled to County Donegal, Ireland to march in the Mary of Dungloe festival and performed for the legendary Leo Brennan at the world famous Leo’s Tavern.

Lia Fail had a very ambitious schedule in March 2013 when they played in the New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade on March 16th followed by the Dublin, Ireland Saint Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17th and the Limerick International Band Competition on March 18th where they took home the “Best Musical Performance” award.
